Imagine the News

Back in the 2010s, I started noticing how books like Brave New World and 1984 seemed to be coming true. It was tempting to see them as prophetic, but I also wondered if perhaps those books that aimed to warn us didn't also have a hand in creating the future by planting the seeds and making it seem possible? Was it all really inevitable? What if we started imagining the good news we want to see and hear? More than just broad concepts of "peace," but very detailed stories of GOOD things happening. Would that help usher in a brighter future?

J.E.D.I. Writers - Using the Force for Good

J.E.D.I. Writers began as a co-working group for writers & artists seeking accountability and community for self-directed projects, be it books, blogs, art projects, etc. Initially, JEDI stood for "Just Effing Do it". After a year of being on haitus, it's back and rebranded as a writers group for people wanting community and support specifically for projects aimed towards the collective good. It's FREE!

Amanda's Musings (Th'inkling Aloud blog)
​I used to share my art and writing on social media and have transitioned over to a blog, which I share with my email list. (I try to minimize social media use these days) Because of the exploratory nature of my pieces, often in the form of streams of consciousness, I call them philosophical musings. They come in inspirations and I cannot guarantee they will always be perfectly polished, but they are always thoughtful.
