About

Drawn to Life began as a daily creative drawing practice, coinciding with a somatic healing journey aimed to heal pre-verbal developmental trauma that was impacting my life on every level.
I didn't know where the drawing would lead - up until then I considered myself a writer - but thankfully I was surrounded by a warm community of coaches, healers, fellow artists and entrepreneurs who encouraged me to listen to the quiet nudges and intuition, and keep following what felt good even if it didn't always make sense. 

The journey isn't over, but after many months of drawing, I discovered new avenues for bringing my ideas to life, one of them being ​Giving Cards - affirmation cards that are meant to be shared with others.

Amanda's Musings (Th'inkling Aloud blog)

I used to share my creative process and ideas on Instagram and gradually started moving the longer ones over to my blog as I move away from social media. Because of their exploratory nature, often in the form of streams of consciousness, I call them philosophical musings.  They come in bursts and I cannot guarantee they will always be polished, but they are always authentic and thoughtful.
