About Drawn to Life
Drawn to Life began as a daily creative drawing practice, coinciding with a somatic healing journey aimed to increase my nervous system's capacity for stress and uncertainty.
I didn't know where the drawing would lead - up until then I considered myself a writer - but thankfully I was surrounded by a warm community of coaches and entrepreneurs who encouraged me to keep exploring and follow my creative inspirations even if I didn't always know where it was going.
After many months of drawing in the wee hours of the morning before work, I discovered some ideas for bringing my art to life, one of them being Drawn to Life - Giving Cards - affirmation cards to share with others.
I launched a Kickstarter project which successfully raise funds for the layout and printing. The project embraces D.E.I. principals by committing to donating card decks to the local nonprofit Create Now, which brings art to at-risk youth in the Los Angeles area, and donating seedlings to Malibu Foundation for each giclee art print ordered.
